Prayer to Saint John Bosco
Oh, Saint Don Bosco, who with such great love and zeal cultivated the multiple forms of Catholic action that flourish in the Church today, grant your associations the greatest progress and development! Redouble, in all hearts, devotion to the Most Holy Eucharist and to Mary Help of Christians.
Add to them love for the Pope, zeal for the propagation of the faith, a caring concern for the education of youth and great enthusiasm for raising new priestly, religious and missionary vocations. Make sure that, in each of the nations, the war against blasphemy, evil speech and the impious press is encouraged; causing new collaborators to emerge everywhere for the different forms of apostolate recommended by the Vicar of Christ.
Instil in all Catholic hearts the flame of your zeal, so that, living in diffuse charity, they may, at the end of their lives, reap the fruit of the many good works carried out during it.
