Prayer to Saint John the Evangelist:
O blessed evangelist Saint John,
I remind you of the tender and deep friendship
that Jesus, Our Lord, felt for you.
I remind you of your friendship with Jesus, Our Lord,
upon whose breast you bowed your head in Holy Communion.
I ask you for grace
to have good and faithful friends
and avoiding or pushing away false friends,
perjurers and hypocrites,
or bad habits.
Grant me the grace to always preserve
faith in Our Lord Jesus Christ.
So be it.
Saint John the Evangelist, be my refuge.
Saint John the Evangelist, protect me and guide me.
