Santa Jacinta in ivory

Jacinta de Jesus Marto (Aljustrel, Fátima, March 5, 1910 - Lisbon, February 20, 1920) was one of the three shepherd children who claimed to have seen Our Lady in Cova da Iria, in Fátima, between May 13 and October 13 from 1917.
She was beatified by Pope John Paul II on May 13, 2000 in the Sanctuary of Fátima, and was canonized by Pope Francis in the same place on May 13, 2017, on the occasion of the celebrations of the Centenary of the Apparitions of Fátima. to JacintaAccording to The Memoirs of Sister Lúcia, Jacinta Marto, after the apparitions of Fátima, also received some private apparitions of Our Lady. Of these particular Marian apparitions, Sister Lúcia highlighted the following:
Jacinta sees the Holy Father - Lúcia reports this in her Third Memoir: "One day, we went to spend our siesta hours at my parents' well. Jacinta sat on the slabs of the well; Francisco, with me, went to look for the wild honey in the brambles of a bank there. After a little time, Jacinta called out to me: – Didn't you see the Holy Father? – No – I don't know what it was like! , on his knees, in front of a table, with his hands on his face, crying. Outside the house there were many people and some were throwing stones at him, others were cursing him and saying many ugly words to him, Poor Holy Father! I had to ask a lot for Him. On another occasion, we went to Lapa do Cabeço. Once there, we prostrated ourselves on the ground, praying the Angel's prayers. After a while, Jacinta stood up and called out to me: – Can't you see. so many roads, so many paths and fields full of people, crying with hunger, and having nothing to eat? And the Holy Father in a Church, before the Immaculate Heart of Mary, praying? And so many people praying with Him?
Visions of war - "One day I went to her house, to spend some time with her. I found her sitting on the bed, very thoughtful. – Jacinta, what are you thinking? – About the war that will come. She will die so many people! And almost all of them will go to hell! Many houses will be destroyed and many priests will be killed (it was the Second World War). light that that Lady said comes before, flee there too! – Don't you see that you can't escape to Heaven? – It's true! But don't be afraid! , for the Holy Father, for Portugal, so that war does not come here, and for all the Priests.
Visits from Our Lady - On December 23, 1918, Francisco and Jacinta fell ill at the same time. Going to visit them, Lúcia found Jacinta at the height of her joy. In her First Memoir, Lúcia says: "One day she sent for me to come to her quickly. There I went, running. – Our Lady came to see us and says that she is coming to take Francisco to Heaven very soon. And me He asked me if I wanted to convert more sinners. I said yes. He told me that he was going to a hospital, that he would suffer a lot there for the conversion of sinners, in reparation for his sins against the Immaculate Heart of Mary and for love; of Jesus. I asked if you would go with me. I said no. This is what bothers me the most. I said that my mother would take me and then I was left there alone! He deigned to visit Jacinta, to announce new crosses and sacrifices. He told me the news and said: – He told me that I'm going to Lisbon, to another hospital; After suffering a lot, I die alone, but don't be afraid; that She will take me to Heaven. During her 18-day stay in the hospital in Lisbon, Jacinta was favored with new visits from Our Lady, who announced to her the day and hour when he would die. Four days before taking her to Heaven, the Blessed Virgin took away all her pain. On the eve of her death, someone asked her if she wanted to see her mother, to which she replied: - My family will only last a short time and they will soon meet in Heaven... Our Lady will appear again, but not to me, because I will certainly die , as She told me."
