When a person in our family goes through a problem or faces a crisis, our heart squeezes in pain. In these moments of greatest anguish, pray to Our Lady of Hope and ask her for help in the name of the one you love so much.
In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
I address you, Mother of Holy Hope,
With a heavy heart and an afflicted soul,
I ask you for help to ease this weight I carry.
Please hear my request,
Kind Mother,
and support (say the person's name).
Your sufferings, needs and afflictions are also mine.
Look after those for whom I can do nothing
but to whom You can
grant everything.
Protect them, gentle Mother,
and may Your powerful goodness help them to cross without danger
all the difficulties.
Our Lady of Hope, give me strength to continue with courage,
with Your blessed help.
May the tears be wiped from my eyes,
before the face of Your Son,
that you show me with so much love.
Give me firm hope in Your Help,
because I know that you will come to the aid of (say the person's name)
in this moment of distress,
and that under Your Divine protection
you will never be helpless.
