Prayer to Our Lady of the Head
Here I am, prostrate at your feet,
O mother of heaven and Our Lady!
Touch my heart
so that you may always hate sin
and love the austere and Christian life
what you demand from your devotees.
Have mercy on my spiritual miseries!
And, O most tender Mother,
do not forget also the miseries
that afflict my body
and fill my earthly life with bitterness.
Give me health and strength
to overcome all the difficulties that the world opposes me.
Don't allow my poor head
be tormented by evils
that disturb the tranquility of my life.
For the merits of your divine Son,
Jesus Christ,
and for the love to which you consecrate,
reach me the grace that I now ask of you
(ask for the grace you want to obtain).
There you have, oh powerful Mother, my humble supplication.
If you want, it will be answered.
