Prayer to Our Lady Help of Christians:
Most Holy and Immaculate Virgin Mary, Mother of our most tender and powerful Help of Christians, we consecrate ourselves entirely to You, so that You may lead us to God. We consecrate to you your mind with your thoughts, your heart with your affections, your body with your feelings and all your strength; and we promise to always work for the greater glory of God and the salvation of souls.
And you, however, O incomparable Virgin, who have always been the Mother of the Church and the Help of Christians, continue to show this especially in these days.
Enlighten and strengthen the bishops and priests, keeping them always united and obedient to the Pope, infallible Master; increase religious and priestly vocations so that, through them, the kingdom of Jesus Christ may be preserved among us and extend to the ends of the earth.
We ask again, dear Mother, that you keep your loving gaze on young people, always so exposed to so many dangers; and upon poor sinners and the dying.
Thirst for all, O Mary, sweet Hope, Mother of mercy and Gate of Heaven. But we also beseech you for us, O great Mother of God. Teach us to copy your virtues in ourselves, especially modesty, deep humility and ardent charity.
Grant, O Mary Help of Christians, that we all welcome ourselves under your Mother's mantle.
Grant that in temptations we immediately invoke You with confidence: that the thought that You are so kind, loving and dear, that the memory of the love that You dedicated to Your devotees be of such comfort to us that we are victorious against the enemies of our soul, in life. and in death, and we may one day be your Crown of Glory in Heaven.
