Prayer for students
Infallible Creator, who, from the treasures of Your wisdom, You took the hierarchies of the angels, placing them in admirable order in heaven;
You, who distributed the universe with enchanting harmony; You, who are the true source of light and the supreme principle of wisdom, spread the ray of splendor over the darkness of my mind, removing the double darkness in which I was born: sin and ignorance.
You, who made children's tongues fruitful, make my tongue learned and spread your blessing on my lips.
Grant me the sharpness of understanding,
the ability to retain,
the subtlety of highlighting,
the ease of learning,
the abundant grace to speak and write.
Teach me how to begin, guide me in continuing and persevering until the end.
You, who are true God and true man,
who live and reign forever and ever. Amen!
