Prayer to Saint Philip:
O glorious Saint Philip, you who were so favored by God to help and console your spiritual children at the time of their death, be my lawyer and father, when I find myself in that tremendous step.
Grant me grace, so that at that time the devil does not overcome me, that temptation does not oppress me and that fear does not discourage me.
Strengthened by living faith, firm hope and ardent charity.
Support me with perseverance in that last battle, so that, full of confidence in the mercy of God, in the merits of Jesus Christ and in the protection of Mary Most Holy, I may be made worthy to die the death of the just and to reach the blessed homeland of Paradise.
All this to see and praise God with you and with all the saints in heaven.
