Prayer to Saint Irene:
God, our Father, is your spirit that within us bears witness that we are your Children and that the risen Jesus is the same yesterday, today and throughout the ages. Therefore we pray: Holy Spirit, who reigns in heaven, you are our strength! Spirit of truth, present everywhere, filling the universe, treasure of all goods and source of life, life to dwell in our hearts! Free us from all guilt and lead us, through your kindness, to salvation. In the strength of your love, unite all who believe in Christ! Sanctify them with the fire of your love. Holy God, strong God, immortal God, have mercy on us! Heal our wounds, for Your name's sake, and welcome us, finally, into Your Kingdom.
