PRAYER OF SANTA QUITÉRIA
In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
Saint Quitéria, wife of Christ, you received in heaven the crown of eternal glory.
My Lord Jesus Christ, You granted Saint Quitéria the double crown of martyrdom and virginity, we beseech You that just as You gave Your servant the power to defeat the devil and convert many souls, so through the merits of Your Saint, deign to give us the grace, with your intercession, to be defended from the temptations of the spirit of darkness.
Just as You granted Saint Quitéria the gift of healing, we ask that, through her intercession, we are protected against diseases and plague, against illnesses of the body and soul. So be it.
My holy Quitéria, who suffered martyrdom for the love of Jesus Christ, come to my aid, as I greatly need your powerful protection, pray to God the Father for me, so that he may grant my request (make your request).
